Altered #1 lino cutter

I remember a few years ago, someone was offering altered lino #1 cutters. Does anyone know where I can get one these days?

Enjoy!

--If you are talking about a speedball #1 gouge, you can make one yourself.
Step 1. Heat gouge in a flame.
Step2. Insert exacto blade in chanel.
Step 3. Squeeze gouge with a pair of pliers.
Step 4. Have extra gouges in case you break one.
It helps to have an extra pair of hands to hold the exacto in place while squeezing.

Don't forget to sharpen the nib after heating and squeezing. You can use whet stones or strops, but I use a small sheet of 400 grit wet or dry sandpaper. I usually sharpen before and during each carving session.

Just pull the nib across the sandpaper , handle first at the approx angle of the sharpened section (tip) of the nib.
